This Mermaid costume is designed to Barbie specifications and fits many dolls of a similar size. It is made from over 90% new materials. They are individually made, machine and largely handstitched.
Conceptualised prior to manufactured mermaid Barbies, the rough textured material used for the "coconut" bra is remnant material and the inspiration for the costume.
All items made by EvCo Petal Pics are ecofriendly fashion; made from remnant or recycled material, so the items are made in limited quantities and reduce landfill.
Remnant and Recycled materials are used to reduce items otherwise destine for landfill. Often made from the "cutting room floor" left over from human sized item sewing or repurposed sanitised, previously loved items that might have obtained a tear or stained somewhere. Items are detailed at recycled or remnant for your full knowledge and choice.
